Maya Angelou once said "Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope." Having counseled couples and families for many years now I know this is possible. Together we can arrive at a destination full of hope. I will help you through and provide you with the tools needed to survive those hurdles and fences that life throws at us and you will be able to find a love that knows no barriers.
Welcome to Compassionate Connections Counseling
I meet with individuals, couples and families. Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Please contact me for a free consultation about your concerns and whether or not therapy might work for you.
I routinely present to couples about issues of marital quality and the impact on children, communication, negative cycles gender differences, sexuality and other couple-related issues. I also provide marriage workshops based on “Hold Me Tight,” by Sue Johnson. If you have an interest in a certain type of presentation, contact me for dates and possibilities.
I make presentations for groups of women, youth and couples related to marriage and family and self-esteem issues, including stress, anxiety and depression.
